La Serena Golf is located on 60 hectares right on the shores of the Mar Menor in the Los Alcázares district. It is a 6,168 metre, par 72 course designed by Manuel Piñero. It is an eminently flat
course, where the greatest challenges are provided by the predominantly east wind, the multiple water hazards found on 16 of its 18 holes, bunkers and desertlike areas; all of which calls for the utmost precision.
Other facilities:
* Social club: changing rooms, pro-shop, club storage, café, restaurant and a terrace with incomparable views of the Mar Menor.
* 14-bay driving range, 8 of which are covered, two putting greens and a chipping green.
